About Josh
The Kevlar Beard is a blog about my everyday life. I am just a regular guy living in the Tech Center district of Denver, CO. I like to discuss topics like:
Music – My first cassette tape was Mylon Lefevre and the Broken Heart. Since then, I have been a big ole’ fashioned music nerd. I collect vinyl. I play guitar and bass for Young America and my Church. Occasionally, I’ll even sing a little bit, if you’re lucky (lol).
Faith – I was lucky enough to be raised in a home that was based around Biblical principles. In my early 20s, I would say I went through a little bit of a faith crisis, which turned out to be healthy. It really helped me establish my relationship with God on a personal level rather than simply living vicariously through others. I like to be open minded, and discuss progressive ideas. Most of my discussion on faith is simply ideas, I am not telling other people how to live or making bold statements about what is or isn’t wrong. I just want to get out what is going on in my head.
Life – I lead a very active life. It seems like I am constantly running to do something. I really enjoy going to concerts, climbing, riding my bike, getting coffee, going to movies, etc. etc.
Finally, I really like shake face pictures:

Hey Josh. Im finally at wordpress!! Blogroll me and have a visit! http://www.7holycrap.wordpress.com
We went to Helena Montana. That’s where I grew up. I will be posting some pics of the trip in the next few days.
I appreciate your comments on ThatGirlKate’s blog…and just wanted to say if I came across blunt…I apologize. And I totally appreciated your handling of George. Blogs are ripe for confusion and fits and I think it’s totally classy when someone handles it like a gentleman. Nice to meet you and hope to hear from you again.
Bluntness can be a great attribute; sometimes I think people skirt around issues too much. Nice to meet ya, brotha!
